Lingyun White Down (Baihao) Tea

A wild tea tree whose buds and leaves are covered with white down - held

Lanxi Maofeng is produced in the misty mountains cut up by tributaries of the Fuchun River in northern and western Lanxi county in central Zhejiang province. The best of several teas produced there is that from Yezhu Tan. It is one of the Panshan or west county teas.

While Maofeng is a quality tea in its own right, it is often scented to produce Jinhua Moli Maofeng (Jinhua Jasmine Hairpoint). Jinhua is the name of the prefecture. This tea is well liked both in Chinaand abroad.
