Yongxi Huoqing (Yongxi Fire Green) Tea

This Ming Dynasty tribute tea comes in tiny, slightly hairy, dark green pellets somewhat like those of Gunpowder tea. It has an unusual orchid fragrance absorbed from nearby cymbidium orchids blooming as its leaves open. Jingxian county of Xuancheng prefecture south of the Yangtze in eastern Anhui province is its home.
